Champion # 14 "Derek" CH Nanook's The Highwayman CD
Derek was a Best in Match, multi Puppy in Group
and Best Puppy in show winner. He was shown to his CD by his co-owner
Ruth Bridges, unfortunately Derek managed to escape one morning
and by supper had been mistaken for a wolf and shot by a farmer.
This photo was taken of him just weeks prior to him being shot,
he was one of my favorite males and I often wonder how he would
have influenced my dogs of today.
